For more than three decades, CSCI’s team of experts has upheld the highest level of security and been ahead of the curve on industry standards. Charged with the implementation of governing Executive Orders and DoD Agency and Service level security policies, our robust, well-trained, professional security team consistently maintains maximum confidentiality. CSCI personnel are compliant with current policy and procedures that govern the handling of U.S. national security information at all levels of classification and sensitivity, especially DoD directives.

Our well-rounded professionals are equipped with the training, education, and understanding to meet customer requirements and ensure the integrity of all programs. Members of our dedicated security team bring diverse educational experiences, including university degrees, training acquired from military service schools, and proficiency gained from years of daily operations in the government and commercial sectors. CSCI security specialists hold more than 1,000 certifications and are either certified by OUSD (I) or currently enrolled in security education programs that will lead to certification. Our certification offerings continue to evolve based on the needs of our customers.

Certifications are fundamental to our work. Our employees hold a multitude of certifications and are frequently engaged to train and certify other individuals and teams. While we are continually expanding our capabilities and credentials, some key security certifications include:

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • Security Education Development (SPēD) Certifications by the office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD (I))
  • CAPM/PMP by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Professional training from Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE).

Facility Management and Support

Secure facilities are crucial to the protection of key information and personnel. CSCI has extensive experience managing and supporting temporary and permanent security facilities and has engaged in projects such as:

  • Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
  • Special Access Program (SAP) Facilities
  • Technical Specifications for ICD/ICS 705
  • National Security Systems Advisory Memorandum (CNSSAMTEMPEST/01-13; DODM 5105.21 Series
  • DODM 5205.07 Series and the NISPOM

Physical Security and Personnel

CSCI provides security personnel for a variety of operations and facilities, at all levels of classification. We also provide Inspection services and training assists for Joint Staff, combatant commands, Services, other Agencies, and all levels of the industrial complex participating in programs where CSCI is the primary provider of security personnel.

Policy and Procedure Development

Our team understands the meticulous nature of creating policies and procedures that follow government regulations. We specialize in ensuring compliance with longstanding and recent DoD directives. Examples of our work include:

  • Special Access Programs (SAPs) Nomination Process and the DoD 5205.07 Series SAP Manuals
  • Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) security classification

Security Classification Guidance Development

When it comes to guiding the classification process, we understand the importance of making sound, objective decisions and producing materials that are clear and user friendly. We are equipped to manage and assist with the development of documents that establish and implement security classification procedures.
